Job Description

As a Performance Test Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance tests using JMeter to ensure the scalability, resilience, and reliability of enterprise-level applications.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to embed performance testing into the development lifecycle.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for performance testing, enabling seamless integration with DevOps processes.

  • Monitor and analyze system performance using Splunk and Dynatrace, identifying potential bottlenecks and performance issues.

  • Contribute to resilience engineering by developing strategies and implementing practices such as chaos testing to ensure system reliability.

  • Conduct in-depth issue analysis using Dynatrace and provide actionable insights to improve application performance.

  • Prepare and present detailed performance test reports highlighting key metrics, findings, and recommendations for optimization.


2. What You Bring to the Table:

  • 8–10 years of overall experience in performance engineering and testing.

  • Strong expertise in JMeter for load, stress, and performance testing.

  • Proficient in Splunk for monitoring and log analysis.

  • Advanced knowledge of Dynatrace for application performance management and root cause analysis.

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

  • Familiarity with resilience engineering practices and chaos testing tools and methodologies.

  • Good to have: Understanding of IBM MQ and its integration in complex systems.


3. You should possess the ability to:

  • Effectively collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps teams in fast-paced Agile settings.

  • Identify and resolve performance issues using analytical tools and performance metrics.

  • Translate test results into clear, actionable recommendations for technical teams.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of performance testing practices and frameworks.

  • Quickly adapt to new tools and evolving technology environments.
