Job Description

As an Application Migration Engineer you will:
  • Play a critical role in a major Identity & Access Management (IAM) transformation program focused on migrating systems and applications from Active Directory (AD) to Entra ID.
  • Gather and analyze data from various systems including AD, Entra, Azure, ServiceNow, and IBM ISIM to identify connected systems, accounts, and services.
  • Correlate data across platforms (AD, Azure, OCVS, SNOW, ISIM) to prepare detailed migration plans, assess risks, and identify role or provisioning impacts.
  • Create and document technical migration playbooks for virtual machines (VMs), middleware, databases, and service accounts onboarding to Entra.
  • Define and support post-migration management guidelines for roles and privileged accounts, ensuring alignment with application and system owners.
  • Provide hands-on support during migration execution, leveraging automation to streamline processes and minimize manual tasks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams to ensure smooth, secure, and compliant IAM transitions.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 8–10 years of experience in IAM or IT infrastructure roles, with a focus on system/application migrations and automation.
  • Active Directory (AD): Managing accounts, querying systems, and performing clean-up tasks.
  • Azure / Entra ID: Familiarity with Azure Resource Graph and identity migrations.
  • ServiceNow (SNOW): Proficient in mapping systems to application IDs.
  • IBM ISIM: Understanding of provisioning policies and role management.
  • Data Correlation: Strong capability to analyze and map data across heterogeneous systems.
  • PAM Tools: Experience with Azure PIM and CyberArk PAM.
  • PowerShell: Advanced scripting skills for automation and data processing.
  • Documentation: Creating comprehensive technical guides and migration runbooks.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Coordinate with diverse stakeholders including system and application owners.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable migration strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to system dependencies and provisioning conflicts.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement in IAM processes.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
